Vagner Love addresses departure rumour

The Brazilian forward has been heavily linked with a return to his native Brazil in upcoming the winter transfer window.

Besiktas forward Vagner Love has received a transfer offer from Santos FC in recent weeks, however, he is committed to the Black Eagels, for now.

According to the 34-year-old, he has no intentions of leaving as long as Besiktas still wish to keep him.

“Despite the offer I’ve received, I have not thought about leaving. I don’t think I’ve completed my mission at Besiktas yet. I’m not thinking about anything other than making the most of every opportunity I am given this season.

The situation we find ourselves in the league is not where we expect to be. We are looking ahead, past the previous results.

If the club’s management want to sell me then we’ll sit down and discuss the terms. However, I did not complete my mission at Besiktas yet,” he explained.

Love has been regularly linked with a move away from Besiktas and back to his native Brazil, with Santos leading the pack to sign the experienced forward.
