Fatih Terim nears return from 10 game ban

The Emperor will be back on the sidelines guiding his team as his 10-game ban comes to an end against Ankaragucu.

Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim will complete his 10-game ban when his team takes on Boluspor in the Turkish Cup on January 22.

The Emperor, as he is known in Turkey, was handed the lengthy touchline suspension for his involvement in the melee which took place during the heated derby against Fenerbahce in the 11th week of the Super Lig earlier this season.

Terim will be back to his normal duties in the dugout when Galatasaray take on Goztepe away in Izmir.

His assistant, Hasan Sas, completed his 8-game suspension when The Lions lined up against Sivasspor on December 17, 2018, the final game of the season before the winter break. He will be present by the touchline during the Galatasaray-Ankaragucu game on Saturday, their first game of the second half of the season.
