Henri Saivet agrees to join Bursaspor

Senegalese international Henri Saivet is on the verge of returning to Turkey.

Bursaspor have agreed terms with Newcastle United’s midfielder Henri Saivet.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Sivasspor where he worked with Turkish coach Samet Aybaba, who is now in charge of the Green Crocodiles.

The player still has a three-year contract with the English outfit but is expected to leave the club this summer.

Aybaba is a big fan of the Senegalese midfielder and has made signing him a top priority.

During his time with Sivasspor last season, Henri made 12 appearances during which he made 2 assists.
